In 2008, New York City saw a completely unheard of candidate by the name of Isaiah Matos run for the House of Representatives in Congressional District 14. After only a few months of campaigning on a completely grass roots level ,with zero corporate sponsoring and some aid from the local Libertarian party, Isaiah was able to earn over 3,200 votes in the November 2008 year election. Mr. Matos is the founder of Operation-Liberty.com and maintains the hope of inspiring others to run for public office, with the goal in mind of returning control of the United States Government to those who it rightfully belongs to, the people. This was the intention of the founding fathers, a realization that once was upon the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Isaiah is currently the Chairman of the Manhattan Libertarian Party, and the Regional Coordinator in District 14 (NY) of Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty.
